I'm Veronica Rivera, Founder and CEO of Love Apparent. My journey in senior care began over 35 years ago, a path sparked by my very first experience as a 16-year-old caregiver in a senior community. I'll never forget that initial day, My first assigment was to assist in showering a resident with dementia – Let's just say, I was the only one who showered that day! Listening to the rich life stories of the seniors I encountered ignited a deep sense of purpose within me.
This calling led me to establish Love Apparent Senior Services, a lifestyle concierge designed with seniors in mind. The name, Love Apparent, is a heartfelt tribute to my father, Antolin Rodriguez, who taught me that you do not need to be a biological parent or child to make your love apparent. Our signature color, pink, represents the love and compassion at the heart of our work. It also holds a special meaning as it was the cherished color of my mother, Mariana Rodriguez. My 35 years of caring for seniors, including my own parents until their passing, have profoundly shaped my understanding of love, life, and values. The lessons learned from them and those I've served have made me who I am today.
Now, I'm incredibly proud to see my children carrying forward these principles within our business, continuing the Love Apparent legacy of providing care with genuine love, honor, and unwavering integrity.Caring for those who once cared for us is a true privilege.
